Illustration Work

NOAA   |   2025   |   Photoshop, Illustrator

Illustration is a consistent thread across very different contexts. The same skillset that produces a scientific poster also produces a brand mark or a storybook character. Only the application changes.

At NOAA I contributed illustration work supporting national communications initiatives, including commemorative posters, stickers, brochures, and anniversary graphics for the National Marine Sanctuary system. That work required translating complex scientific and conservation concepts into imagery that felt approachable and inviting.

The same instinct shows up everywhere else on this page — in brand illustration for Peninsula Explorer, and in narrative character work for a children's book project. Different audiences, different tones, same underlying practice: use imagery to make ideas land.

Alongside professional work, I continue to apply illustration across personal and exploratory projects to refine my style and expand its role within narrative systems.
