At GAO, I worked within the Contracting and National Security Acquisitions group and helped communicate some very interesting, complex topics to the general public. This example is from the NASA team regarding Artemis missions and the Gateway program.

GAO—Weapons System Annual Assessment | 2024 | Illustrator, InDesign
The 'quick look' (a misnomer for an annual multi-hundred-page document analyzing DOD acquisitions) was a highly collaborative year-long effort. I partnered with a team of analysts to both format and provide data graphics for this complex report prepared for government officials and members of the general public interested in DOD spending.

At GAO, I enjoyed working on engagements that held a 'story' within them. I worked closely with the analysts to ensure that I understood the essence of the story so that I could accurately communicate complex data in a far simpler-to-digest visual form.
